Work by H.C. Westermann, a gift from Sharon and Thurston Twigg-Smith to The Contemporary Museum, will be on view at the museum through Feb. 22, 2009. Curator James Jensen talks about the artist, who brought his wartime experiences and travels to his unique autobiographical work.
